Ignore him...looks good.
Plus it's better than a pop out banner which was on a previous forum last year, everytim you went near it with a cursor it opened across the entire page!

I think it looks grand, nice for a change. You can run with your browser non full screen btw so you dont have to look at the ads.

I'm starting to feel deprived and isolated. I haven't seen any trace of orange. I've looked at my internet settings but can find no clue as to why I'm missing out.

Wonder how much the add costs and if the ones that are complaining would like to pay GM more I am sure they would change it to their own preference for how ever long they fund the add...........

Probably cost around £1200, depending on the traffic this site gets.

We get to use this site for free and as such we can't complain about how the site is run. Any advertising that gets a reaction is good advertising so Cobra have gotten their moneys worth. I don't mind the orange at all.

It's golf advertising on a golf website ......Many forumers have benefitted from the generosity of GM so if they inturn want to make some coin themselves by selling advertising on their website then good on them !!! Besides, I quite like it

Junior is spot on. Look on it another way. Manufactures class the forum as a good advertising place abd as such also offer great fitting comps for free.
If we are going anti adverts am I right to assume that if cobra offered a fitting comp those winging about the offer would not enter . It's good to see cobra jOin in and support the forum, because as a rule it seems Titleist, tm and ping as a rule

Gentlemen,
in no way am I critisizing the GM forum or its staff, for the record I think they do an excellent job, and the forum itself is second to none. I have nothing against advertisments on the forum, or the manufacturers that advertise here, I dont even have anything against Rickie Fowler as a person or professional, come to think of it.
The only thing I do have a problem with is the extreme amount of orange currently in front of me. I dont like it.
Now, seeing as this part of the forum is clearly named 'website feedback' I thought I'd leave some. Nobody said it had to be positive
Everybody likes to see freebies dished out, fair play to the manufacturers and GM staff for organising such generosity, but in all seriousness, if Cobra offered to dress me up in what Rickies' wearing on the left of our screens, I'd politely decline their kind offer!

It does't help my stealth window on my office computer though. I thought the green was bad enough, but the orange really telegraphs that it isn't a work screen.
