Hello I play off 11 and looking irons with more control as play cobra forge tec and they go too far 7 iron can go anything from 180/210 looking at Nike vapour pro combo at 175 pounds for 5/pw or ping I200 or ping i59

About 190 but sometimes like 210 which is too far went and played the other day from the rough my 9 iron went 185

If you have such big variables in your distances then I would spend the money on lessons first. Sounds like the problem is your technique. Yes I get that you might get the odd flyer from the rough but that would be pretty rare, if these big differences in distances are from the fairway or the tee then it is not your irons at fault.

Why are you off 11?

With distances like that there is something amiss in your game that new irons will not resolve....or is it just the variance in distance that means you simply don't know how far any individual shot is likely to go?

The variable in distance pw normal 145 and then can go 160 like each my irons can go an extra like 15 yards

Just looking a consistent yardage with my irons and not getting hot shots

My putting was letting me down is why off 11 and distance control mate Yeah that’s it mate standing over a 150 shot is a pw I know it shouldn’t go long and sometimes it does which is insane
