So, I guess you need to look for irons with a 7 iron of about 33 degrees.
I would also steer clear of those with a hollow body construction. I have seen some inconsistent distances when playing with people using some of those.

Seriously? Why do you think someone would come on here and openly admit they hit their clubs 30 yards less than forum average?I can't accept this post is not a wind up.

Agree with this. With the distances stated it sounds like he's swinging out of his shoes at everything. A bit of work on taking a longer club and swinging within himself might be beneficial for dispersion and accuracy. What about trying to smooth the tempo out and simply hit them softer, not all out. Potentially even grip down the club half inch?
You still need plenty of speed though. If I try and deloft my irons, they don't go any further, they just fall out of the sky quicker.I have a friend who delofts the life out of his irons and hits them silly distances. It's nearly laughable how far he hits them. He not tall or athletic. Real strong grip.
There could be a bit of this going on with the OP.

Coming out the rough was probably a low spin bullet, those happen.About 190 but sometimes like 210 which is too far went and played the other day from the rough my 9 iron went 185
I wish it was I’ve just sold the cobra irons as they just went too far and thinking now ping i210?I can't accept this post is not a wind up.
That’s right I got them cause they look like blades but had good distance and I went to get fitted and remember the guy feeling me my swing speed for a 7 iron was 93 mphKind of amazed at some of the responses in this thread. This is a really really common issue, especially since covid times. Loads of young, athletic guys taking up golf that have tons of club head speed but still need some help.
This is a common issue with P790, and why I personally think P770 is a much better iron in a lot of cases.
P790 doesn’t spin very much in comparison to others in that category, and so distances with a fast club head speed can be very very long. The issue being that descent angle or landing angle is too shallow.
P770 is weaker lofted but also a higher spinning head, so for someone in this situation will generally give a more consistent/better ball flight.
Go get fitted and explain to your fitter what you want out of it. Consistency of distance, you’ll end up in some of the clubs mentioned in previous comment above.
Some are a bit precious on here.I only signed up to this tread for help not to wind anyone up
Yep that makes sense. That’s right I got them cause they look like blades but had good distance and I went to get fitted and remember the guy feeling me my swing speed for a 7 iron was 93 mph
