From the face on vid:

That's a nice looking swing you have. I don't think it's either steep or narrow. Your position at the top looks perfect. It looks like you release the club a bit early on the way down, losing you some lag and therefore power. At impact with an iron your weight (for a leftie) should pretty much be totally on your right side, it looks like you've backed off it everso slightly... in essence...lean into it a bit :)

If you could putt then that's a swing that could get you to scratch in my opinion :D

Back in a mo...see if I can knock you up a quick picture...

Here you go...

Both players hands are at the same position, look where the club shafts are....

The yellow line is the right arm/club shaft at impact, your club is nearly there already so it will actually get ahead of your hands as you continue through the swing.

Here's the vid it was taken from, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dGCw-RgRapU also look at how he gets into the shot with his right hip on the way down (it goes way past the yellow line whilst yours is already as far as it's gonna go), he's hitting from the hip and you are slightly casting the club. OK, OK it's Leftie himself and you're not exactly going to hit like him, but I hope you see where I'm coming from.

Regards...

Wow that's an amazing video you found of leftie on youtube.....thanks.... and what a superb description and analysis of his swing. I didn't realise how much the club shaft deflected at impact.....might have to look out for a few more of these. I learnt a lot from that video and your comparison of leftie to Stevey's...nice job.

Nice looking swing Stevey (for a leftie :D :D)
