I played in the Earlsferry Thistle open last year and it was superb was out with 2 of the members both really nice lads who guided me around and for £20 it was a bargain, i plan to play in it again next year.

It was a one-off last year but I played in the East of Scotland championship there. Really nice course - well worth a visit.
I'll be hitting the computer when the bookings open on Jan 1st to get decent tee times at Beau Desert for singles, pairs and the Am AM in open ages and seniors. Also be looking at Burnham & Sherwood Forest, will take at a look at the England Golf Opens also.

Got 8:10 booked for The Saunton Easter Challenge, was filling up very quickly!
not sure which course I am on to start though as the choices were West rd1, or East Rd2 a which are the same thing.

Why would it be a typo, surely it stands for round 1 & round 2 🤔 So your starting on the East course and then 5hrs later starting on the West course.

Same here Sam, I see they have put east entries as round 2 but its defo a typo.
We've booked 09.40 & 09.50
Wasn't impressed at doing 6 individual bookings though.
I set our opens that you can do multiple entries.

It was a typo Robin, you had the option of playing the east or west 1st.
They have now updated it so both courses now say 1st tee.

Despite not even playing Robin has been relentless to me on twitter about something that was clearly wrong!!
If anyone wants a practice round on the East on Sunday afternoon before the open i have one spot left in our 4 ball. Cost is £45 as i won a voucher on ebay for £180 a while ago
