Hi folks,
Just wondered, similar to last year, what you had your eye on for next year.
Any top tracks you experienced this year that you have to go back to? Or any new one's you must sample.

Any that are ridiculous deals that can't be missed??

I am considering a trip to Wales so if anyone is keen let me know!

Cheers
Merv

I'm playing a pairs open at West Lancs in April, looking forward to that. A date clash will mean i'all likely miss Royal Aberdeen this year but I'm playing the Golf in Scotland series again with the final at Castle Stuart and there's a few good tracks in the with the likes of Ladybank, Craigielaw, Monifieith and a few others.

Aberdovey & Royal St Davids have great Opens, at weekends, for about £25 notes. I'm always looking to these when planning in next year's trips.

Can also sign you on at Conwy for about £20 in the summer.

Pretty decent value weekend!

Would be good to catch up.

I am going to do the Burnham seniors individual stableford on July 10th. I will be 55 on that day so I reckon I could be the sprogg of the competition. It's of the yellows but who cares.

Only off the yellows 😂😂 it's still 6500 and css will be at least one over par.

look forward to you shooting in the 60s 😉

Possibly the Eden tournament at St Andrews again but not sure yet plus my usual events at The Berkshire, St Enodoc, Saunton, Burnham & Berrow, West Hill and also thinking about Royal Liverpool scratch mixed foursomes at the end of August.

would be happy to partner you at Coxmoor GC on Sunday June 11th,

played Coxmoor 1st time this year. Enjoyed the course and played in the Captains Charity amam in August. Found it to be a very good deal and in good nick too.

I see the June event is a foursomes, that's alternate shot right?

Looking at a weekender up North, Tain on the Saturday and Royal Dornoch on the sunday in May then back up either Tain, Golspie or Brora in August to play the 36 hole opens ,great value ,also Elie in June again for £20

like wise.

tend to play an open at Nairn Dunbar, one a Moray old, the Fraser Gardener at Royal Dornoch and the last open at Tain.

might do the open at Trump Aberdeen if its still on, sort of lost interest in opens the last few years, was a time when i played about 20 opens.

Hi Craig, Seasons Greetings!
played Royal St Davids a few years ago, shot 98 off 24hc! It's one I have had my eye on to re-test myself against for a while. I found it and the conditions brutal on the day!
Would be good to have a catch up and I was looking at Pennard who have an open week in Sept, various formats over a couple of days and seemingly ridiculous value!
Aberdovey also appears to have a couple of excellent options in September.

Nairn Dunbar could be on the list my mate played in 3 of there opens last year. Tain i really enjoyed ,nice course and really friendly members, always brings you back

Sauntons Easter Cup is always on Easter Monday. For £50 and 18 on each course I'm not sure you'll get better value in England. You can also enter the Royal Norh Devon open on the Sunday to make a weekend of it.

check out Moray as well they have quite a few and a couple 36 holers on both courses, well worth it.

I think Tain as at least 4... will prob rejoin next year

Yes, unfortunately, but at £25 each I still think it's good value.

(Just checked website, fees for 2016 at weekends are £80 each)
