Is that because people are expecting the traffic to be bad?
Darley is never busy it’s always quite midweek Fullerton is really busy

Tbf I think I've gone past looking for links courses so open to all recommendations but starting to take a look at some on here so appreciate all the suggestions!

Don't know where you're staying but outside Glasgow on the Ayrshire side East Ren and Bonnyton are both good courses.
