Yup. I've got a bottle of the stuff and it really does work. I carry it in my golf bag.

The Wife got me some of that a couple of years ago when i worked in the Cairngorm National Park. I didn't think it worked. still got bitten to F*CK.

Luckily Tain and Nairn are both too windy for the buggers.

I've been using the Avon product for 5 years, every time we go up to Scotland. It works a treat for me. You do smell like a tart though.

Ah but caution on the Skin so Soft! They changed the formula not so long ago and it lost it's midge repellant magic because they cut out one of the cirtrussy ingredients. So you must make sure you buy the one marked "original".

I only know this because i do a lot of fishing- i am not an Avon lady
