One trip......

Spent 8years growing up in Laarbruch and went to school in JHQ for a couple of years.

Top place, haven’t been back for 20 years, would like to go back to see how much Weeze has changed.

Great times.

What years were you at Laarbruch? My uncle served there when I was growing up so I spent a bit of time there visiting family. Including one memorable trip aged about 7 or 8 when I went for a walk with my brother, got lost and ended up walking down the side of a really wide road watching the planes land on it. Not quite sure how we managed to end up on the runway but we were quickly picked up and escorted away from the area.

84-92

We lived in Weeze for all that time.

I'd go back about a year and tell my son that he couldn't have Fortnite so that we could still speak and see him.
I know that feeling, years ago we let the youngest buy an Xbox, worst decision ever! He gave up golf and talking to people normally, the next 8 years for him have been spent in his bedroom!

Yes, the last time we had a proper conversation rather than a grunt or a moan about the internet was last year sometime!

Tough one really. You can either look at it as something you'd want to change, or a time that was so good you'd like to relive it. Can't really think of anything for the former, so maybe I'd go back nearly a decade, to when I was 22, just moved out into a cheap flat with mates, having a good time and was just about to meet my wife for the first time. :)

About 30 years ago when I decided that taking my dad a big lump of gorgonzola cheese from East Anglia to East Lothian with the family in the car on one of the hottest days of the year.

It was virtually liquid when we got there.
Occasionally I still think I can smell it.
