Langland Bay, Machynys, Rolls of Monmouth (on way down), Ashburnham all booked

One other day for final round, probably going to be the Saturday, so with that in mind which would be he best choice from these? Looking for a nice course to finish the trip but doesn't need to be overly exerting or long etc and looking for some localish - Swansea or Gower as we'll be based around there.

Pontardawe
Neath
Morriston

Played Pennard a few times so giving it a miss this time.

Anyone a member or played any of the above

Any suggestions?

Thank you

Southerndown is supposed to be very nice although not played it myself. If you don't mind a bit of a drive, Tenby is very good. Failing that, one of the Celtic Manor or Wales National courses?

Neath is lovely. Amazing views and some really good holes.

If the budget stretches, can't recommend Porthcawl enough. £120 for food and golf. The whole experience from the moment you step in the clubhouse is immense. Sensational links course.

Worth every penny

Pyle n Kenfig is an interesting place to visit.

Front 9 ok, but 11-16 (IIRC) are all great holes.

Clubhouse a bit traditional / 70s but nice place to tick off.

Thanks all so far.

Porthcawl is somewhere I want to go but too expensive for this group for sure.

Was ideally looking for something close to Swansea for final travel Saturday morning and not too expensive, hence the shortlist of Morriston, Neath and Pontardawe. Hoping to find an hidden gem I guess. Anyone played any of those. Sidneyb, thanks for comments on Neath.

We stayed in Dragon Hotel in swansea (doesn't everyone?!?), and think P&K was about 30 min drive.

Yes looking at the Dragon for this trip. I assume it does the job? Fancied somewhere actually on the coast for the scenic option which was why looking at Gower GC but then it's taxis to town of an evening. P&K looks lovely but different direction to where we're heading on the Saturday (back to the Midlands)

Apologies, P&K is en route for us back home. I had us heading North as the crow flies but of course we'd head East and much nearer to P&K. Had a look and it looks lovely but the course closed to members on the Saturday when we'll be travelling back.
