Just seen this on the GM Twitter feed.
You go away with your mates for a night, where would you go and which courses would you play?

For me: stay near Leeds and play Moortown and Alwoodly.

San Francisco - Pebble Beach and Cypress Point

(OK - getting to San Francisco and then on to Cypress Point would be a bit tricky - but no caveats in OP question :) )

If you are paying :) I would pick courses I have not played before, The Berkshire Blue & Red courses

If I am paying then I would pick Saunton East & West

Yep, that would be good!
Obvious others?
Stay in Southport - Birkdake and Hillside
Stay in Ilfracombe and play both Saunton Courses
Stay in Woking and take your pick of loads! :)
Stay in Newquay, play St Enodoc and Perrenporth
Less obvious - stay in Llanelli and play Ashburnham and Porthcawl

I did that last year, they have an offer for this exact trip. Good choice (y), two top courses.

For me, Turnberry, playing both courses, The Ailsa on day 2. Fabulous set up. (If Turnberry is full I would go across to Gleneagles, Kings & Queens courses :D)

St. Andrews is a good shout.

Best value I’ve played is forest pines and Gainsborough. The former wins for the quality of courses, the latter for the food!

Had a great time in Portstewart when last there, Portstewart and Portrush. Both tremendous courses and banter.

Aberdeen for Trump and Royal Aberdeen.

Or somewhere in London for a couple of classic heathland tracks. (No idea of where or geography but would very much enjoy it)
