on the course, convert Metres to Yards by adding 10% (rough rule of thumb but fine for golf) ie 180 metres to green is 198 yds- simples

Yeah but then they go and measure the marker posts to the FRONT of the green. So it's add 10% to get your kilowatts, add another 20 yards for the pin position which is another 22 megahertz and then you come up short because you thought it was a 7 iron when it should have been a 5 wood

Have a great trip. Just home today from a week in Portugal and had a fabulous time so hope you're trip is a cracker too.
A gang of Ascot members go every year and reckon it is brilliant so you'll have a great time. I know they've played a couple of the courses on your itinery and you'll be in golfing heaven. Have a good one Smiffster and keep the bald patch covered, the white bits well creamed and the hangover cures close at hand
