To cut a long story ,i shattered my lower right leg/knee in march and but for the wonders of a fantastic surgeon could of lost my leg,therefore i have not been able to play since and it was doubtful whether i would play again,anyway just got back from the range hit fifty balls no problems and my swing was still pretty much as before.Sorry but just had to share my joy.

Great news. I have had two pretty insignificant lay-offs through injuries and know how good it feels to get back out hitting balls. Hope your recovery continues and you start playing again soon.
My latest "rest" only lasted 4 weeks and I enjoyed my game so much afterwards I was grinning all the way round.

Good news Paul but take it steady. I shattered my right ankle 5 years ago and although they put it back together (I've got enough Titanium in it to make a Driver!) I still get problems with it from time to time and I always will.

Good news Paul, i had 2 discs removed from my neck in december & where they were are now 2 carbon cages which have grafted with the other vertebrae, i too had similar thoughts about playing again but have been playing again since May, if anything i think it's straightened my driving up a bit . Keep up the good work but don't do too much too soon, you'll know when your ready.
