So Bubba , I drive the pants off the ball Watson, all but drives the green then cant get a 4 foot putt up to the hole

and Dustin , I'll just ground my club on this nice bit of sand Johnson, drives through the green and takes 3 to get down.

To be fair to Johnson, he has a tidy short game, and you are looking at one isolated instance. I would happily take his alround game. It is only a matter of time before he lands a major.

yeah over the weekend althoguh blatently rooting for Darren Clarke, i was impressed by johnson and fowler.

people often label americans as being everything thats wrong with america. arrogant and whatever.

but really those two impressed me more as the days went on.

I would say a good short game is just as important in windy conditions as you are going to be missing greens due to the wind.
