On the brink

What a strange weekend. Played golf with a sore back and shoot the lowest score in competition all year.

I did the chores around the house yesterday knowing that I was playing golf today in the monthly medal. I hurt my back washing my car and it wasnt looking good for golf the next morning. Honest to God I could hardly walk last night.

Low and behold I not only made it to golf this morning but I played really well shooting 74 gross (net 63).

It earnt me a cut of 1.2 and puts me to just .3 of single figures. Only 1 comp to go in a fortnights time. Damn that double bogey on 16th!!

Driving was a little iffy, well pleased with the irons though and 30 putts with the flat stick.

Sorry I dont normally go off like this but I'm well chuffed tonight.
