Oldest club in the bag?

Oldest as in I have owned the longest is my 4 hybrid. Has been with me pretty much from the start.

Oldest as in really produced the longest time ago is my iron set, which I bought used. I think it was manufactured 2005 or 2006. I used to play a slotline putter which was even older (a lot older, actually, late 1980s, I think), but I exchanged that for a slightly newer Odyssey putter).

I used to ache for one of those so badly as a kid in the late 80's, they were in all the magazines at the time and I just couldn't raise the money :(

My oldest equipment now are my irons from 2006; I keep thinking about getting something more modern (Ping and Titleist appeal) but they still do a decent job and I know they are never the issue.

Love Crow's old school set, there's something really cool about those clubs.

My oldest club in the bag would be the original tight lies 5 wood that I bought fairly soon after starting to play golf IIRC, which at a guess would be very late 90s probably 98 or 99.

After that over the years I bought and put in the bag, the 7 wood, then 9 wood and this week an 11 wood:ooo:

Most of my clubs are ebay 2nd hand so age is hard to gauge exactly. I have a Cleveland 60° wedge which looks very old but it works well for me so it is staying. I have a Taylormade Burner driver which looking online is probably around 2007. I suspect that is next on the list to change as driver tech has moved on so updating to a newer 2nd hand model will probably bring some benefits. I believe AG should have lots spare from trade ins so maybe a little visit is in order .

Mizuno Tour Proven Original blades from the early 80's are in my bag.

i have a set of Ben Sayers "Ray Floyd" blades from a similar era in my garage

My Odyssey Rossie 2 putter since 2005 but it has been in and out a couple of times since
Ping G10 driver - I reckon since 2009 continously

My tourstage x blades, from 2002, I think. That said, they are old, but new, so I'm not sure they count.
Other than that, probably my putter, but it's not that old.

From new?

Unfortunately not. I lusted after these clubs when they first came out but could never afford them, so spent my early years rattling my fingers with some old RAM blades! I gave up golf for around 15 years, family, kids, work etc. and returned 3 years ago. Not wanting to spend a lot in case I gave up again I found a set on Gum Tree for £80. 1 iron through Sand Wedge so I snapped them up. Needless to say the 1,2 and 3 iron rarely get out of the house! I am in the market to upgrade though, maybe i25 or similar, but I don't think I'll ever sell the eye 2's on. (I have G20 woods and hybrid so I'm not completely in the dark ages still ;))

It's deffo not that Titliest hybrid 816 I bought today for £110. She is a thing of beauty.

J33 7 wood with tour green shaft. Made up for me by the Grove based clubmaker... thing is just awesome. I had to drop it from my bag because it was too long for my old course but it's perfect for the new course.

Mine's a Taylormade R9 Driver. So not exactly *old*! It's just so crisp (when I get it right!) that I don't feel the need to upgrade. Hit a mate's R15 the other day and I have to say I wasn't overly impressed - gained a few yards but nothing to warrant me spending the sort of money I'd need to *properly* upgrade on it.

Very wise!
