Oh Yes... At last...

Played today with three of my good friends down at Troon Darley in our final match of the season. This was our Winter Cup outing. We play a team format all season, two against two and all that is on offer is the bragging rights until the next match.

Well today dawned clear and cold, the drive through from the East showed up temps of -2°C. Fortunately by the time we pitched up in Troon all signs of the early fros had gone.

Darley is quite a tight course. Not a lot of room for error on some of the holes and many have heather or tussocky grass just off the fairway. It was a day for strategy and good course management.

The course was a bit damp in places, but on the whole in good condition for the time of year. The greens were still quite fast !!

The result, well Team Teletubbies managed a victory in the Winter Cup for the first time in... well for the first time !

I was concentrating too much on the golf !

It was a busy course that morning so there wasn't much of an opportunity to stop and take photos.

I'm in the blue on the end of the line up, KHW at the opposire end.
