I watched Oddsocks carry Smiffy round 18 holes only to eventually lose to a birdie on the last hole (by Bratty) and that's what happened with Smiffy and I around Cooden Beach.... although Smiffy did make a half in there somewhere... apparently

Just that Smiffy will swear blind HTL carried me every single time we played at whatever course. To be fair 90% of the time it was true. That and he never managed to beat us

Errr...we never managed to beat Hywel Homer to be fair.
When my partner and I are giving Hywel a shot up a par 5 in matchplay and he larrups one 300 yards up the middle so is basically there for nothing it doesn't leave an awful lot left to play for to be honest.

Piss taking aside I really enjoyed the day and the round. I know you were well hacked off with your glasses but had it not been for the laughs and banter I'd probably have frozen to death

Jesus ladies this thread got a bit touchy didn't it, almost a pinch of sexual tension. Justone in fairness to smiffy I think it was the shock of 6 holes pro hacking by myself that killed him, but it was funny as on my bad holes he seem to be in position and visa versa. I think pulling back a 3 or 4 down to being all square on 18 was a great game.

There's just some major injustice when someone plays 180 yards over a lake, round a tree from the wrong fairway to an elivated green to leave it 6 foot from the pin, I'm convinced the gods were against me and smiffy

It was actually with a 5 iron for safety from underneath some pampas grass. James had suggested going with a 5 wood, but I just wanted to get the ball back in play. It didn't help that I tried to fecking hit a 5 iron 300 yards though

I can laugh about it now, but inside I was hurting real bad...but the main thing is I didn't moan about it
