After returning home from a sneaky afternoon 18 holes I thought i would do the decent thing and chuck my muddy golf gear in the washing machine. A) I would gain some brownie points B) she wouldnt see the new pair of galvin green trousers I recently purchased.
Anyway after the machine had done its bit I began to hang the wet gear on the radiator (extra brownie points) whilst crouched in front of the washer I removed one of my thick golf socks which was still in a ball so i began to shake it out and managed to create a scence similar to daniel craig in casino royale and smashed myself squarely in the meat and 2 veg.... Resulting in me curled up in a ball on the kitchen floor as HID walked in and calmy pronounced 'tough day dear???'
Anyone else got some tales of off course golf related injuries..???

Not anything specific but has anyone else noticed (or is it just me) that whenever you cut your hand its always in the most god awful place when you take your grip on the golf cub. A couple of mil here or there and you would be fine but no its always on a pressure point.

Murphys law I suppose.

I smashed (and I do mean smashed) my 2nd toe into the wheel of a suitcase on Tuesday. It's still not recovered, it's a horrible colour and I'm supposed to play on Sunday!! :(

i drove to BREADSALL PRIORY for a week end of golf/drinking with a group of friends no problems, fabulous room with great view of one of the courses got all the gear from the car, eager for a game but my friend was a little to eager and shut the car door with my hand still inside, the result 3 broken fingers,4 hours in hospital and no golf for over a month and to top it all off no drinking because of the tablets for the pain.

Too many to mention but the most annoying was bruising my index finger while walking one of my dogs when she decided to go for a cat I didn't see before she did. Luckily It only kept me out for 1 week.
