We went to Italy a couple of years ago and the place we stayed was full of Dutch people, clearly the home of the most beautiful ladies. I was glad I didn't have my Oakley's then, I'd have been walking home 😁.
I actually have bought dark replacement lenses for my Oakley's for holidays when the sun is very bright. I bought Revant lenses and they work very well. I'll look at the suggestion made earlier though. Always good to get a recommendation👏👏
What level of lens do you go for? My glasses are g30's, allowing 30% of light through. My darker lenses allow 8% of light through, not enough to be honest. Others seem to be around 12%. Is that about right or should I be going higher still?

Mine are scratch free as well. Oakley half jacket xl 2.0
Had a version of this for 7 years. As good as the day they were bought. Also got some Ray Bans for holiday use. Buy cheap, buy twice(read multiple times).
Like GG waterproofs, quality lasts.

Found a Bolle pair I like more with the V3 Golf lenses so think I might order those.

Have about 5 pairs of Oakleys - couple of half jacket XL that I wear for golf - no issues with scratches etc

All of my 14 pairs of Oakleys are pretty much mint. The wifes? Scratched to bits. I guess like any thing else expensive, you need to look after it. I have never broken a phone screen either.
That said, before buying, i always check that the arms do not park against the lenses. This is a common fault with a lot of sunnys, and wreck them quickly.

The only way I've scratched mine is by losing them at Chipstead GC and them getting run over by something, never really heard durability as a complaint re oakleys before (everyday holbrooks w grey non polarised lenses, not one of the sports models)

I had a 220 pair of Oakleys run over by a mower when they fell off my head at the golf club. I sent them to Oakleys service centre for repair, and they sent me a new pair for 50.
14 pairs! Blimey, does that get classed as a fetish?
