Nottingham Area - Tuesday 10th March

Hi all,

I am travelling up to the Nottingham area on Tuesday 10th March for the Footjoy Golf Day @ Notts on the 11th.

Wondered if anyone fancied a game Tuesday afternoon?

Was looking at maybe playing Sherwood Forest as its only £37.50.

I suppose you're looking to stay on or around the M1 for travelling? Alternatively I'm a member at Newark and I think guest rate is good til end of March.

more than happy to play wherever really, Sherwood was top of my list as its another course knocked off my top 100 list for only £37, but your place does look nice.

I'd love to come along as Sherwood is a cracking track. But unfortunately it's the bread knifes birthday that day so I don't think she'll let me. Coxmoor might be worth a shout as it is literally opposite Hollinwell and is a great track as well.

yeah sure as long as we can get round? says 6pm onlne so should be fine.

I'll leave here at 12 . Should take 45 mins but could take up to an hour so would hope to be there by 1. The course is actually at Mansfield, North of Nottingham. It's also one I'd love to play so should be good. Can then grab a bite to eat in the clubhouse afterwards.

I've emailed them and asked for 1.30pm so shall see what they come back with.
