Not a bad week for golfing news....

So last week I had a call from my golf club to say that I had been drawn out of the annual competetion and had won accomodation in Barbados, 11 days in a 3 bed town house on the Royal Westmoreland Golf Course (sleeps 6).

So I need to sort flights and green fees but next May I (and 5 more) will be in Caribbean. :cheers:

Then Tuesday I get a random email from Snainton golf, saying that they had done a draw from their Newsletter subscribers, and as one of 5 I have won a pair of footjoy Sports!:cheers:

Then on chatting with them I asked about the Bridgestone Balls they had recently, B330RXS @ 2 dozen for £40. He said they had 6 boxes left so snapped them up, that should last me until winter

not bad eh... and I havent even had to play well to win any of them (thank god).

No Jason I wasn't, I was going to be really nice to one of the few gentlemen on here, and someone with whom I have had the privilege of enjoying a couple of rounds of ............... look, I can't keep this drivel up for much longer, who's going to Barbados in the sunny Carribean Sea, I'm not going to be a bus driver all my life, I've seen to much of Brixton Town in the night, we'll fly away Coconut Airways, climbing high Barbados sky...........
