Shame I have had a drink or I would have driven away from the city to try and see them, Geomagnetic activity is at storm level which means the Aurora will be visible a lot further south than usual.

Gutted, didn't see anything here in Lincolnshire and I live miles away from the city so light pollution isn't that bad.

I saw them once from the back of a frigate inside the Arctic Circle. Absolutely no light pollution in the middle of the ocean and they were amazing to see. Tried looking last night but down on the south coast we got no chance.

Even if they made it this far we're too close to 24-7 lights of the city to see them very well, One day I'll make the journey (maybe revisit Sweden) to see them properly!

I thought I saw the same but my mate put it down to a few too many 'Gulpers'
