Two friends & I are heading to Sandwich for a weekend watching the Open and want to play somewhere on the way down on Friday. Work commitments mean that we need to play somewhere within easy reach of the M26 in the early afternoon.
At the moment we’ve got Kings Hill, Wrotham Heath and Tudor Park on our short list.

Any thought on which one we should play or any other suggestions much appreciated?

Handicap range from 28 to 16.

Hi mate,

I have played Tudor Park a few times. I Play around a 28h/c. It is a resort course well looked after. Some quite challanging holes and some nice scenery going around.

I havent played the others so i can't comment sorry about that.

Kings Hill used to be lovely, but long and if the winds blowing then even longer.

Tudor Park very nice, with some great holes.

Another great one is West Malling (Spitfire course).

Think about Ashford as well - Its a tree lined and tight course but I am a member and never tire of playing it. The motorway noise can be a distraction but its far better than Tudor Park IMO and last week we hosted The Kent Seniors Championship.
