North East Knock - Sat 12th Feb

No preferences on North East course so am open to suggestions. I think Golfboysatty would be up for it but let me know if you are then we can arrange a course.

I notice in your sig you play at longhirst.

Was wondering what it's like as me,my dad and another friend are thinking of staying there for a few nights is september and playing a few rounds.

So was just wondering what the course, facillities etc were like?

I'm biased, I think Longhirst is the best course round here.

I started playing there and have continue on from there. The facilities are good, nice bar, good pro-shop, nice wide fairways and almost always playing proper greens which are in tip top condition.

The only thing to put some people off is the amount of water but this just adds to the challenge.

Bozza I can vouch for Longhirst Hall too as played there with Kevin.Also I can vouch for the water being a 'challenge' too....even though I went in it less than Kevin!..lol...think I mentioned it to you on another thread but you can play there for £10 after 1pm EVERYDAY............Its prob the best value course Ive played on.

BUT today played Tyneside Golf course at ryton near newcastle and its simply a fabulous course and blows mine out of the water (only half mile away)
