So I've bought a couple of nice layering pieces for the winter, from sports section rather than golf section.
I guess they are designed with runners or cyclists in mind, but as far as I'm concerned we all have the same requirements when it comes to keeping warm but not sweaty!
Anyhoo- they both have a slot near the end of the sleeve seam to pop your thumb through which is great for non-golf activities- stops sleeve riding up and keeps your wrists warm ( a significant site of heat loss).
At the moment I am just rolling the excess fabric length back, but once i get into winter glove weather (soon!) I may try hooking my thumb through (under glove) to keep the draughts from my bony wrists.
Anyone do this or does it mess with your grip too much?
