This does sound like a possible scam...one person with two accounts, tries to get the two highest bids, retracts the highest and then only has to pay the lower bid. Some people are gits!

It works the other way also, the seller makes bids from a different IP and ups the bids then cancels his leaving some poor mug with a over inflated price.
