Question:- could you play in the Roshe G Tour without the spikes? Really want some spikeless like these (Air Max would be ideal in this colour)

Yeah, but taking the spikes out doesn't make them spikeless, it does, but it doesn't.

Probably most guys could cope fine without spikes. I know I certainly could.

But for me, I'd just buy a pair of spikeless. For me these have always been far more comfortable and I can pretty much wear them in all dry conditions and for practice / range etc. I'd reckon the firm sole on these would not be as comfortable as normal spikeless / dimpled shoes.

For me, spiked shoes are bigger / heavier / less comfortable shoes for wear in wet conditions to ensure your feet stay dry.
