Just seen an ad for these on SkySports during their Honda Classic coverage, anyone tried these? Is the new core actually an advancement or just a marketing scheme?

Mate of mine had three he got from AG. Tried it on the chipping green. Felt very much like the Nike One or the Platinum but perhaps a tad firmer off the putter.

Tried one the club pro gave me last week, scuffed up badly for 1 round, sounds a little clicky when putting but it did play and feel fine. didn't notice any difference in distance (normally play pro v1) and difficult to judge chipping as greens are still soft.

played Oulton Hall today so me and a pal tried one each to see how they went.
I've pretty much played the Nike One ball for the last year, so I was expecting big things.
They are very 'clicky' off the club face, and seem to spring off the club head. Off the tee it didn't give me any more distance and round the green it seemed to react very similar to the One.
Played 18 holes with it, and apart from a nice cut from a very dodgy bunker shot (I'm bloody useless in the sand at the minute ) it's still in good nick, certainly good enough to go back out again for a friendly knock.
Would I buy them again? probably not, unless I can find them at a decent/bargain price. Whist I can still get the One's at £20 I'll hold off for now.
