I was quite looking forward to playing there this year, albeit I didn't in the end.

He's not associated there any more so i would think its unlikely.
I think the layout in terms of spectators could work though on holes other than 1,17 & 18, it would be a nightmare to get people from the 1st green to 2nd tee and then 16th green to 17th given that they'd have to use the same walkway that the pros would use.
Infrastructure would be interesting too. Given the success of the festival of speed i think they could work it quite well.

It's a good course , decent layout , good clubhouse and certainly worth a visit and they do have deals on a lot
I'm just not a big fan of it - just feels a bit false and pretenious

really, that sounds quite low considering where it is. I think Castle Stuart was getting 50k ish and thats with a limited population

Well Wentworth even with great weather gets about 100k. so 60k would seem about right to me...

Well ticket wise it was around 57 thousand over the 4 days but that didn't count the corporate or members and members guests etc
But a very good turn out for the event
