New to the forum

Hi all,

I would like to introduce myself properly as I registered yesterday and quickly posted a question about a ruling that I needed claritying which I would like to say was sorted out very fast and I now very much look forward to joining in on this forum and hopefully help others out in the same way I was helped yesterday.

Briefly I am a 10 handicapper and play my golf in NorthWales about 10 miles from Chester.
I have been playing golf for many many years with a 15 year layoff in the middle whilst providing for my family.
I play in my club comps every weekend and like most of us enjoy the banter in the 19th afterwards.
My 2 sons are now showing a good sign of interest so will get them started with a course of lessons from my club pro.

They're also REALLY old so they highlight the diversity of this forum.

We're not allowed to ridicule them in relation to their age because that's against the law but they're so old that the only golf clubs they're allowed to buy are PINGs, their favourite television show is 'Last of the Summer Wine', their favourite food is Complan and, most importantly, things were better in their day....

I would say welcome to the forum but you're Welsh - too many of them on this here forum!!

I play my golf at Old Padeswood G.C.
It is a parkland course par 72
We have about 700 members and the course is in amazing condition.

No, we're already playing at Chartham Park - and you can't play because we've already got 16 - so there! Yah boo sucks!
