I have just got the R9 TP irons last weekend

As some one posted on the forum pages here

wolf in all fairness the ones you ordered were late 09/early 2010 spec, surely you should have expected there would be a new range for 2011.

they have these three sets of irons for jan/feb, there will be 2 options/updated versions of each by the end of the year,

Oddsocks - thats me done with new irons now for at least 2/3 years. My main reason for changing them was the shaft.
If i buy anything else i won't have to decided where to put it ....... my wife will decide for me ... right up my .......

Oh I like the looks of them, the irons could be a bit shinier though. TM kind of lost its way with its irons, I think they need to change the naming convention as I think they are now in the x12, x14, x16, x18 etc etc etc camp with callaway.

They moved their custom fit from Basingstoke to Wentworth but I guess it close enough

Custom fit has moved but trading HQ is still Basingstoke. So that'll be a round on the West trying out the new irons, lunch and nine on the East. Happy days!

Yeh but it will be better than the last one even tho the last one was better than the one before.....and so on. Oh, one of the best ball strikers I know uses the R7 superquad...take it from him and you die.

Love TM drivers and fairways so no doubt will have to force myself not to trade in my R9 at the earliest opportunity for an R11!!!

Not sure about the weight stuck to the back of the irons, hope they feel better than they look.
