Mrs Wolf recently said we need try something together as she hates golf, I suggested bowls but seems we're going to an Archery class next week, hopefully she won't shoot me 🤷â€â™‚ï¸

Glad you've found something you can do together. Unfortunately, down this neck of the world (ie the sunny south of England) you'll not be playing "proper" bowls. Any green without a crown is just a poor substitute. Fun enough, but not the real thing. 😀
It's a good game to play together. Me & Mrs B have the occasional game - which she enjoys. But it drives me to distraction that she cant (or won't) grasp the concept of the bias in the woods.

My MIL has lowered my handicap, I had a picture of her face printed on my golf balls. Increased my drives by 50 yards.

It turns out that I am a better bowler than Mrs Radd lol .really enjoyable morning being shown the ropes by a very lovely lady called Hazel .The Mrs enjoyed it so much that I'm 200 knicker light as she paid us up for a full membership there and then.we do get a club tee shirt and a locker .when we got home I was another near fifty sheets lighter as she went on the bay and bought us a pair of indoor shoes.
