New set help

Hello, I have just signed up here today and looking for advice.
I am looking to start playing golf again will be playing weekly, I used to play a few years ago but sold my gear.
I am just an average player if that.
I have found Callaway x2 Hot set for £500 or taylormade M6 for £1050.
Is it worth the extra for M6 or can someone recommend a different set worth buying?

I would suggest looking at a decent second hand set of Pings.
Very good clubs which will get you back into golf at a fraction of the price.
You may want start withe the 'G' series

I put my set together for sub £500, used a few different avenues. Used ping driver off a nice fellow on here, used Ping fairway woods off a guy on FB market place, ex demo callaway xr irons, new fazer lob wedge and wilson staff stand bag out american golf, new callaway xr hybrid from decathalon. Just need to replace the putter i inherited and thats my set sorted for a few years.
