Due to a shoulder injury I've had the winter off, but after a range session on Saturday I've now got the golf buzz and eagerly anticipating the new season!!

Since then I've already bought a couple of fresh shirts for the spring sun, stocked up on balls and started thinking about goals for 2016!!

Last year I didnt buffer my hcp once. After starting the season with a -0.6 cut, I got a whole heap of +0.1s with only 2 more cuts through the year so the first priority is a bit of stability!! Beyond that a new trophy in the cabinet would be nice as well as an away day for a final somewhere (entered 3 national comps) ......not that I'm asking much.

Same for me I was out for 20 weeks over the winter with a thumb injury just starting now to get back into it, good luck

Haven't played too much but ready to start as of this weekend. Looking for a big 2016 and a chance to get down towards single figures. If not as long as I enjoy it then all good (apart from having to pay Fish and the H4H bet - not that it's going to happen)

Had my last game on 17th Oct last year, I'd had a niggling pain in my lower left stomach/groin area, so I thought I'd rest it up over the winter and see if it went away. It didn't. So I went to the Docs, he had a poke and prod and reassuringly said he couldn't feel anything untoward, but I still got booked in for a scan, which will be this coming Monday 7th. So until I get the news of said scan my clubs stay put.

Fingers crossed it's nothing, but with the ache/pain hanging on for so long and not going away, it's going to be something, hopefully nothing that will require an op of any kind.
