My Trooli router has given up the ghost so I'm looking to replace it with something like the TP link AX55.

NO expert or anywhere near it.
My ISP supplied a Linksys 6 router and have been pleased with it. Good coverage throughout a largish house despite internal aerials in the router. The only downside is cable fitment which in the side as a tower rather than out of the back as row ( I still have a cabled network for TV SKY and computer).
