Who?? Never heard of either of them!

Cool! Never tried one of those centre shaft putters, only a matter of time before someone starts putting the shaft on the toe side and revolutionises golf.

Hang on...

Patent pending. :)

Re: "New putter syndrome", or do lots of folk switch depending on greens?

I'm a one putter man, now.

I had an old ping becu B60 in the bag, simply because when I bought a starter set of secondhand clubs I needed a putter and this was in my dad's garage (in RH, yet he is a lefty, weirdly), so I nabbed it.
It got a lot of comments and envious looks, but was very unforgiving on any slightly off centre hits and I left a LOT of putts short, so I started hitting them harder, and when I got one on the sweetspot hey presto it's 6 feet past.

So I went putter shopping, and after hitting every putter in the shop I got the Odyssey white hot #7. Great feel, got a great roll. But something about the shape just didn't suit my eye and I couldn't consistently line up the 6ft and under putts. Sold it to a fella on here, I hope he's getting on well with it.

So I went shopping again, got a Nike Method Core 5i. Had this a year or so now and I LOVE it, make more putts than I used to and can't ask for much more than that. The method face rolls the ball really well, the face balanced with slight toe bias suits my stroke (slight arc), and crucially I have no line up issues with this one.
I think the method range is seriously underated. I don't have putter envy at all and never find myself idly browsing the putter section of American Golf or on Ebay.

Not sure I could get used to that, can see the benefit of it following through the line of the ball so could be a winner and I dont know it :)
