New post / read / update

Any one else having problems with the read posts not updating?

Usually they update too fast, so they don't flag up as new before I have even read them, but today, posts I read days ago are flagging up as new.

Been happening to me for a couple of weeks, You updated firefox in last few days?

Not on firefox, just using internet explorer. Can't install anything else as it is a work computer.

Went through user options, mark all as read, and this worked for 20 seconds before they all came back as unread posts.

Nearly as annoying as the pop ups!

I never get pop ups, but I am having the same problem as you with regard to new posts. I just look at the date and time on the right now instead.

Just re-opened internet explorer, and for the moment, all seems ok. Wonder for how long?

It comes and goes. One day a read post will remain flagged as new, another day it doesn't.
I also get days when no posts flag as new.

It has happened on both ie and firefox, though the hotmail issue was purely firefox.

I've had this problem for weeks now. Thought it was just me.

It can't be Firefox or IE7 cos' I'm using Safari. It's obviously a site problem. Bit of a piano in the arch.

Same here but just use the Active Topics link instead until someone fixes it.

I have been getting this as well and thought it was probably only me! My main one is where once I have entered the forum and read one 'unread' post they all become supposedly read and if you want to read something from where you last did you have to scroll through all the posts you have read etc. Its a right pain! It happens with safari and IE.

Oh good. It isn't just me. Thought it was our usual rubbish IT.
