Clubs sound like a bargain. Would be worth getting a couple of Hybrids and leave the 3 & 4 iron in the garage at least until you develop a grooved swing. The hybrids are much more forgiving than the long irons and will give you a lot more confidence.

I mainly use 2 courses at the minute Three locks and stewkly both Nr leighton buzzard, both of which i feel are good value for money and offer a challenge without being to hard

My problem is consistancy which i know will come with time, on my last outing i got par on 4 holes but had a mare on all the others, and cheers for the welcome

they're not far, more or less the other side of Bedford (I try to ignore the bit down to the M1)
