Ive recently been having trouble hitting greens from inside 150 yards, very hit or miss. As mentioned previously last week went into AG in Slough to look at various Irons and was very impressed with the I20s. so impressed that I ordered some after going through the fitting process , Regular shaft, Black Spot, Regular grips. 5 to AW

They arrived yesterday, so picked them up and took them back into the launch monitor and had a go with them all.

After about 20 minutes I got the fitter back and showed him the outcome of my labours
7 distinct groups all neatly spaced about 10/15 yards apart, tight dispersal and right down the middle.

Needless to say im very pleased and cant wait to take them into battle

I also took in my current G15 7 iron and while it was consistant in distance, the dispersal was all over the place,

Speaking to the fitter, My G 15s include a Sand Wedge and when I sell the set it will be better if they are kept together, so he knocked 50% off a Ping Tour S 56 degree Sand Wedge which gave me another neat cluster to add to the 7 above.

Im looking forward to repairing many more pitch marks in the future,

The point I am trying to make is that perhaps my game has moved on from Super game improver clubs and possibly these new irons will enable me to move onward.

I just wanted to share my experience

Besides its a 50th Birthday Pressie to myself :)

Very nice mate,i hope you beat that brother of yours,
and your handicap comes down as well.
It sounds like there going to give you a lot of confidence
which is half the battle.
I tried the 7 iron a few weeks back and was quietly impressed.
Ive also got the Ping Tour S wedges on the recomendation
of Robobum a few months back, they are great wedges imo.
Good hunting bud.

A mate of mine plays off a 5 handicap with G15s, so I figure you should be good for scratch with your I20's.

Have fun with them. New shinies are great. I love mine. Never thought to look at Ping though. Still got 3 years to go before I get on the seniors tour.

AW is a gap wedge, normally 50/52. I think the A bit is sometimes Attack or Approach.

Officially its an approach Wedge 52 degrees, BUT it has a big U where the number is, so it may also be called a Utility Wedge,

Hope they dont ever call it an IWedge , the I could be mistaken for Incontinent in certain circles

Nice sticks!

Was out with a mid-capper with some the other day. First time with them and he hit them really well.

Nice looking too - as was the I20 Driver!

UW is 50*

I keep looking at these from time to time. Having been a gnats breath away to committing to the I15 these seem to keep calling me and the consensus seems to be from those that have tried them is they are arguably even easier to hit. I don't need any new clubs and I'm on a mission to try and avoid the lure of new kit as the call of a milled putter is getting stronger day by day.

I hope you like them and play well Phil. I've said on here already I think you've got the potential this year to get down to mid teens with ease and the new bats may well help
