Living in South London, near Croydon (for my sins haha).

I've played at golf if you know what I mean for many years but only a few times a year. Mainly a hack about at the local muni with mates and an occasional society game where I have got a handicap of 17 although never get anywhere near it.

Now the kids no longer need me as a taxi service I am hoping to get into the game more.

Clubs are a bit of a hotchpotch having been got over many years. Warbird woods and Slazenger XTC irons. Ping Pal putter. I actually find more balls than I lose so not fussy about what I use.

As I said it has been occasional golf so nowhere in particular. With mates, Addington Court, Coulsdon Court once or twice, High Elms, Addington Court, Addington Court .

Society days - nowhere in particular, usually somewhere cheap within 10/15 miles that doesn't mind hackers.

Ah! That would be the days of Double Diamond and Watneys Red Barrel, Blue Nun and Black Tower wines. My old man was telling me about the "good old days" a few weeks back.
