New irons, what wedges?

I’m new to the game and just started lessons. I've been lucky in that I’ve picked it up pretty quickly and I can strike the ball well fairly consistently. My coach suggested I invest in some steel irons as my cheap graphite beginner set have too much flex for me. I have some TaylorMade M2 irons coming, 5-SW, with the PW being 43.5 degree loft and the SW having 54 degree loft. I’m looking at investing in some Cleveland CBX2 wedges, but will these be necessary? And what lofts do people suggest? Would it be a good idea to have something between the PW and SW, or should I be looking at a higher loft? Thanks!

Just the one, around 50 to sit between the PW and SW

As you improve you may want to add in something more lofted than 54. Although that is where my wedges stop.

43.5 is very strong for pw.
I would go for a 48* wedge .
This would give you scope to go 48/52/56 in the future.
It leaves a bigger gap to your SW at the moment but you can hit 3/4 with the 48 to fill this.

I agree with this, I have AP3 and the PW is 43 so I have T200 48, SM8 54 and TM TP 58, works for me
