Looking for the cheapest place near me to get grips changed. Was quoted £143 from a local range for 13 multi compounds!

It really is easy to change them yourself and there are plenty of videos on You Tube showing how. Buy your grips and tape from Gamola http://www.gamolagolf.co.uk/ and try doing one, if you don't get it right then I'm sure a local pro will do it if you supply the grips.

I've just paid our pro £100 for 10 supplied and fitted. I could've done them myself but by the time I buy the gear it's cost me an extra £20 and they were done within an hour.
My 5yr old irons feel like new bats, that's probably saved me £500.

Sam Cairns @ Collville Park is very reasonable, buy the grips you want on line and he'll fit them for you. :thup:

I often buy in bulk from a well know auction site and pro charges £2 a grip to fit cheap enough really

thats fine so long as youre not using multicompounds. Then you need to be really careful as a lot (my guess is the majority) are fakes

I use to buy off gamola and the assistant or pro would fit them for the cost of the tape and a few quid for their time. We now have a new pro coming in so can't see him being so accommodating. Shame as it meant I could get the grips I wanted as opposed to their very limited range

I have to admit I enjoy regripping my clubs and I can get Lamkin Crossline at £3.99 each so can do my set for around £50.
