New Golf shoes, help please

Most decent websites selling Adidas golf shoes advise to get a half size larger than normal due to their small fitting.

I can not understand why people say Stuburt are uncomfortable, I found them to be very comfortable, I have even changed the cleats to stinger spikes for winter and use my FJ pods for the summer.

i'd agree with the half a size bigger, i got 9.5 and in everything else i'm a 9.
as for the Stuburts, i may have got a duff pair of Helium pro's, but honestly they have been dreadful!! I won't be buying anymore Stuburts.

i reckon i could have paid for these Adidas shoes outright just in the amount of plasters i've used when wearing the Stuburts

I got a pair of Callaways from (whispers quietly, Sport Soccer) when I first started playing. They should have been £60 and I paid £30, they are great, apart drom a slight split in the back above the heel, there are excellent. I have played in all sorts of weather and they have been super. Stuck some black widows on once the original spikes went and they felt like new shoes again!
