Hi TAP

Powakaddy and Motocaddy are the 2 recognised market leaders but I'm not sure if your budget will get you one of those brands. I think you can get a Hillbilly in your budget, they are owned by Powakaddy and are reputed to be very good. Another alternative is the GoKart. Not sure about the looks personally but every review and comment I've read about them has been very good indeed.

+1 for the GoKart right here. Had mine for about 6-9 months now and think it's the best thing since sliced bread. Easy to put up, easy to fold away, no cables to attach, just snap in the battery and away you go. Motor could do with being a little quieter but it's not like it's really loud. Great customer service and a great selection of branded accessories, the storage bag is a must have for all GoKart owners.

Agree that the looks are an acquired taste, but I like different and I love my GoKart.

Motocaddy S1 digital
Powakaddy freeway
both £299.00 with 18 hole batteries

Ive just purchased an Alpine white Motocaddy S1 digital trolley, impressed with it so far, easy to assemble and fold down, nice weight for transporting too.........

I have had a Motocaddy S3 digital for a couple of years now....got it at AG with the 18 hole battery which will actually do 36. Cant fault it and the after sales is great...The motor control unit packed up on me a few months ago,it was well out of its warranty but AG took it in, gave me a 'courtesy' one while my trolley went away to Motocaddy to get fixed.

It arrived back 2 weeks later and i picked it up...cost me nothing. So cant fault the brand and after sales.... brilliant.

Gokart. Looks unconventional but works really well and packs down into a nice tidy space. The battery insertion has a knack to it but when you get it there is no problem and it holds it up and away from the ground so going though deeper casual water isn't an issue ;)

Used to have an older model S1 but the wheel sheared of it.
