I have a Powakaddy Freeway 11 which I find is too technical and all I want is a simple electric trolley whwich is reliable.

Struggled with it today as go get no power and had to push for 10 holes . all iI was playing.

Any thoughts on a reliable trolley; I have a Motocaddy bag

I can only comment on what I have, which is a GoKart, which is the marmite of the trolley world.

All I can say is that I love mine and have had no problems with it, apart from a bungee cord breaking (sent a new one free) and after 3 years of heavy use, the wiring frayed, so I got an upgrade for a silly price including free collection and delivery, a full service and a new 2 year warranty.

It's lightweight, simple and compact, and an 18 hole battery does 27 without problem, and will just about do 36, but it's a lot lighter than others, so if it does run out, pushing it is not a massive deal.

I am perfectly happy with it, and the problems encountered are those I would expect from an electric trolley.

Freeway 2 is a pile of poo which Powakaddy gave up on due to huge design flaws whilst they never offered FOC replacements they did offer a scrapage scheme.
Dependant on the age of you trolley they upgrade you to the new sport model which is a lot better.

Upgrade cost is either £130 or £179 dependant on how old your trolley is - You keep your battery & bits & bobs they just post you out a new trolley.

I got the new sport model via this & I love it - million times better than freeway 2 & a lot simpler as well (buttons now replaced with roller) A lot better reliability compared to the old model also - which is not saying much I admit.

Powerbug here also, very sturdy and reliable.

All I hear about Go Karts is how great their customer service is...if the trolleys are so good how come everyone who has one has had to contact their customer service?

No idea here how good Powerbug customer service is as ive never had a problem with my trolley:thup:
