New Driver......Regular or Stiff??!!

As some others have said, since you already have some Ping clubs there's a good chance you'll get on with a Ping Driver.
I was told that Ping don't charge for a fitting, so if you're close enough to a fitting centre it's very worthwhile going to one. You get to try different shaft and head combinations, and have the results of each hit monitored to see which produces the best results.

Welcome to your first post and to the forum.
You're absolutely right. The main fitting centre is in Gainsborough, but there are lots of demo days around the country where you could try all the drivers.
Good luck :)

I played Callaway Woods for years, stiff shafted. My current set up have regular shafts in them and they feel as "firm" as my old clubs did.
I visited a course last week and picked up a driver (think it was a Cobra) in the pro shop fitted with a regular shaft. It felt like it was made of rubber it was that soft!
One manufacturers "regular" is anothers "stiff" and vice versa.
You've got to be able to at least pick these clubs up to try them.

My handicap is 20 at the moment but the way i am playing at the moment it will be coming down fast!....hopefully!! I don't have a budget, if it inproves my game then i see it as a good investment!!
