Took the TM Burner TP to the range tonight in crap conditions.

First comment is on looks, It has a really nice look to it in terms of quality. At address it gives a feeling of confidence.

In terms of distance it is a real beast, hit one right and boy does it go. The sound is more traditional than some of the current drivers.

The thing that impressed me most is the piercing ball flight. I was expecting it to be high after the comments on the standard burner but in a regular set up the trajectory is a steady ascent. This really helped the ball push through the wind.

This isn't the most forgiving driver on the market but then I don't think maximum forgiveness was top of the design brief for this club.

Out of 50 drives tonight I would say that 5 were absolute creamers, 20 were passable and the other 50% were dogs.

Obviously more time on the range/course is required to get used to her before a full & frank assessment can be made. These are just my initial thoughts.

i was interested in hearing about this club as i was thinking about getting 2 of the burner rescue clubs.

Is there any similarities in the way a driver (of any make)works with the way the rescue club(of the same make) works.

geronimo, my dad and brother have burner rescues, they love them, best they've had. The burner fairway is top drawer too!

The pro, Finlay is absolutely superb, he teaches me, there is also Steve the assistant and he is equally good. The guy who manages the place Ben, is also a PGA pro so they are well experienced.

I find that Fin is a) a really nice guy which helps a teaching relationship and b)is a very good teacher, better than others I had used previously.

Lessons with Finlay are £22.50 including your balls. Money well spent in my eyes, steve is £20 I believe.

Let them know I reccommended them to you!

Jon.
