I didn't even consider the fact you could drive to the tee. That place murdered my calves.
To be fair that car park looked rammed. Their was a few rugby matches on

I rely on my Google calendar for this job as otherwise I'd only remember 1 or 2 . I put all my golf bookings on there and just scroll back when questions like this are asked. It's both handy and also quite nice to look back and be reminded.Just the one, I think. But my short term memory can let me down sometimes.
Elea, sorry didn't get the 17th hole
I lived in Lymington for a year and played Lyme Regis on a lovely English day with the wife, on our way to play a 72 hole comp at St. Mellion, (she came second) but never got to play Isle of Purbeck unfortunately.I took the clubs to two new places this year, Florida and Dorset:
- North Palm Beach Country Club (typical Florida style course designed by Jack Nicklaus)
- The Park West Palm Beach (new Gil Hanse course built over a sand dune, incredible place just fantastic)
- Came Down (on top of the downs so great views and good drainage)
- Lyme Regis (interesting cliff top course, not too challenging)
- Isle of Purbeck (bit muddy in October, views over to Bournemouth would be nice in the summer)
Not played there, would love to. Planning a trip in Kings Barns about April where I haven’t played either.Cabot (Castle Stuart) was the only new course for me in 2024.
Must do better in 2025.
