Hello all, I'm a regular lurker on here but up until now I've not had anything of merit to add. I'm also relatively new to golf just 6 months in to the most addictive, frustrating but rewarding game I've ever played.

So at Xmas I got bought Game Golf and as a man who loves a good pie.......................chart I really like it. So far so good, until 3 weeks ago some toerag burgles my house nicking my clubs with the tags in the end of them. (No major tears for the clubs it was time for me to upgrade from the dunplop £120 set from chavs direct to some proper clubs.) I checked on the game golf website and could see a replacement set of tags available to buy but only in the USofA. I emailed there support to be told the UK webshop would be up and running on the 14th April. Fine I thought I can wait till then. The 14th comes and I eagerly turn on the computer and guess what? That's right webshop is still not working.
Now I'm not mad at this but I'm beginning to think I'll be without the data I'm craving for the start of the season. So back to the email I go here is the reply I got.

"Send me your shipping address. I will ship you some tags today or in the morning. The tags will come in a pre-paid return label were you can put the money in and send it back."

And what do you know, today a full set of replacement tags have landed through my letter box. So the question is, amazing customer service or the quickest way for them to lose money fast? Either way I'm happy as a pig in muck plus I broke 100 for the first time last night.

Doesnt seem like a good way to maintain a business in this day and age (which is a shame), but i say fair play to them, they clearly pride themselves on customer service (i've had an amazing experience everytime i have contacted them) and this is another example of it!

In my yoof I used to ride motorbikes and had a Laverda, typically tempremental Italian superbike. The UK importers were renowned for their customer service and based on the fact there were so few Laverdas on the road, they got to know most customers. They frequently sent me out parts quickly and I paid for them later.

Aah the good old days................

The answer is 'Amazing Customer Service'... they know where you live if you don't pay and that your house is pretty lax security wise so they could just nick them back ;)

In the past I had problems with a builder [ ex friend ] who pleaded poverty when it came time to pay me for 2 rewires, both certified, approved and complete .

But fortunately I had a " bigger" friend who managed to persuade him to pay up.

I find it hard to trust anyone when large sums of money are involved.
